Matador spinach
A mid-late variety with large, dark green, oval or elongated, slightly crinkled leaves, suitable for spring, fall, and winter cultivation. Not prone to bolting, it produces excellent material for freezing. An excellent addition to hot dishes, casseroles, and salads. A variety that overwinters well in the ground. Sow in April–May for an autumn harvest and from mid-August to mid-September for a spring harvest.
