Globo onion

A late-season salad onion variety that produces very large (700–750 g) bulbs with an excellent, exceptionally delicate, sweet flavor. Oval-shaped onions with yellow, straw-colored skin. Can be grown by direct seeding into the ground or from seedlings. When grown from seedlings, the onions reach a larger size. Not suitable for long-term storage. Requires humus-rich, sufficiently moist soil. Sow to a depth of 1 cm, from mid-February to April.

Harvest: July–September

Spacing: 40x15-30 cm
