goji berries – wolfberry – seeds
Lycium barbarum
is a drought- and frost-resistant shrub with supple shoots, growing up to 2–3 m in height. From June to September, the shrub delights the eye with beautiful, light-purple, fragrant flowers. Highly valued for its red fruits, which are rich in vitamins and micronutrients. Consuming the fruits improves eyesight, inhibits cholesterol buildup, and slows the aging process. Sow the seeds in trays under cover to a depth of up to 0.5 cm.
Goji seeds — berries with a beautiful color and sweet taste
The scarlet goji is a shrub that produces intensely red, sweet-tasting fruit every year. These berries are known as goji and are famous for their health-promoting properties. They were already used in ancient China—their consumption was particularly recommended for pregnant women as well as new mothers. Today, these fruits are classified as a superfood, meaning products that are exceptionally rich in various nutrients and valuable micronutrients.
Planting goji seeds in the garden or in a pot kept at home or in an apartment is a way to gain a source of these exceptional berries. However, you’ll need to be patient, as the first fruits may not appear until two years after sowing. Growing goji berries isn’t difficult—you can train the plant’s shoots on supports or let them grow naturally. We encourage you to purchase goji seeds from our selection!
