Amsterdam 3 edible carrots (early variety) - seed tape

Daucus carota L.

Early variety. Roots 15 cm long, dark orange, early to color, crisp and juicy. Excellent for juicing, fresh consumption, and short-term storage. Requires light, fertile, well-cultivated soil. Sow 1–2 cm deep from late March to late May. Harvest from August to September.

The seed tape facilitates sowing; thanks to the proper spacing of seeds on the tape, it eliminates the need for thinning and ensures good yields.

The package contains 6 m of seed tape.

Growing conditions:

1. Prepare the soil by removing stones and raking to level and break up the soil surface.

2. Make a shallow groove in the soil about 1.5 cm deep. Lay out the tape and cover it with a layer of soil.

3. Water generously and keep the soil moist, preventing it from drying out to facilitate germination.

Harvest: August–September

Spacing: 30–40 x 3–4 cm

Sowing: mid-March to May
