Purple Foxglove Mix

Digitalis purpurea

A biennial plant with straight, upright flowering stems topped with a long cluster of large, bell-shaped, drooping flowers in light purple, violet, or pink with striking speckles in various shades. An excellent plant for naturalistic gardens, for creating garden groups, and as a backdrop for other plants. Sow seeds directly into the ground in May–June. Prefers partial shade and well-drained, not overly moist soil.

Flowering: June–August / 2nd year

Height: 100–120 cm

Spacing: 30x40 cm
