Product features:

• Perlite, a natural mineral product, is porous, which gives it high water absorption capacity and the ability to absorb dissolved nutrients.
• It creates excellent conditions for the development of the plant root system, significantly loosens the soil, improving its lightness and air permeability.
• The use of perlite creates excellent conditions for root system development; it aerates the soil, improving root respiration.
• The best results are achieved by mixing perlite with soil, peat, or another growing medium. It is recommended tomix perlite with the growing medium in a ratio of 1:3 or 1:4 (i.e., 1 liter of perlite should be mixed with 3–4 liters of growing medium).
• Plants can also be planted directly in perlite using appropriate fertilizers for hydroponic cultivation.

Properties of perlite:

Applications:

• standalone growing medium in hydroponic systems,
• a loosening additive for garden soil (10–30% perlite is most commonly used),
• a component for creating horticultural substrates and growing media (e.g., in combination with peat, soil, bark, coconut fiber, expanded clay, vermiculite, and others),
• covering seeds sown in trays or multi-cell pots,
• vegetative propagation of plants in perlite alone,
• an additive to improve soil properties on lawns, stadiums, and golf courses—it improves air-water relations and prevents excessive compaction and trampling.
