Product features:

• An insecticide designed for the biological control of butterfly caterpillars. The product is a powder for preparing an aqueous suspension, for foliar application. It controls the box tree moth on boxwood and other butterfly caterpillars on fruit trees and vegetables.
• The box tree moth is a pest whose caterpillars devour boxwood leaves en masse, often leading to the complete defoliation of the shrubs. Therefore, systematic and thorough inspection of the shrubs is crucial in controlling this pest. Control measures should begin immediately upon noticing the first caterpillars.
• The product contains the bacterium Bacillus thuringiensis, which occurs naturally on plants and in the soil. The product acts as a stomach poison on harmful caterpillars that feed on the leaves of shrubs, trees, and vegetables. After ingesting a lethal dose of the product, the caterpillars immediately stop feeding and die within 72 hours. Lepinox PLUS is the most effective weapon against the box tree moth.

Specifications:

• Dissolve 5 g of the product in 2–3 L of water. This is sufficient to spray approximately 50 m² of garden or crop area.
• Active ingredient content: Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki, strain EG 2348 (microbial compound) - technical content: 375 g/kg (37.5% w/w), pure: 150 g/kg (15% w/w), (bioactivity: 32,000 IU/mg dry weight).

Lepinox PLUS - Directions for Use:

• lepinox PLUS is a powder formulation for preparing an aqueous suspension. After preparing the suspension, apply a foliar spray using hand-held or pressure garden sprayers (including backpack sprayers).
  When to use lepinox PLUS?
• Spraying with lepinox PLUS can be performed up to 3 times during the growing season at intervals of at least 7 days.
• Application period: April through October. It is recommended to perform the first spray during or immediately after caterpillar hatching. The treatment is best performed in the evening.

Lepinox PLUS - pre-harvest interval:

• Do not apply on the day of fruit or vegetable harvest. Harvesting may take place as early as the day after spraying.
• Precautionary period for humans and animals: Do not enter the sprayed area until the spray solution has completely dried on the plant surfaces.
