During the day, the solar panel converts sunlight into electricity, which charges the battery. After dark, a sensor built into the lamp automatically turns it on, and the battery takes over powering the lamp. The lamp’s runtime at night is approximately 6–8 hours when fully charged and depends on geographic location, weather conditions, and the season.
