When setting out on a bike trip, it’s a good idea to bring a repair kit that contains all the necessary items for patching a flat tire on your own. It will come in handy if your vehicle breaks down and there’s no repair shop nearby. Tire patches can also be used to patch a swimming pool, mattress, etc.
Instructions for use:
- Locate the hole in the inner tube.
- Clean the area on the inner tube where the damage is located.
- Rub the inner tube with sandpaper to roughen the surface.
- Apply a thin layer of glue, then wait until the glue dries (it stops shining).
- Peel off the backing from the patch and press the remaining part firmly against the surface coated with glue.
- Wait a few minutes until everything sets.
- Remember to replace the inner tube with a new one when you get home.
